Museum and Institional Film Projects CLIENT The Art Institute of Chicago FILM Palette of Glass CONTENT The film was shot with Marc Chagall, documenting the artist's creation of the America Windows for the Art Institute of Chicago. PURPOSE Used in connection with the permanent display of Marc Chagall's America Windows at the museum. The film also aired on CBS television, and won an Emmy. CLIENT The Art Institute of Chicago FILM Between the Lions CONTENT The film gives the viewer a behind the scenes look at the Art Institute, as curators and conservators share their perspectives and approaches on the acquisition, installation, and conservation of the museum's extensive collections. PURPOSE Used to help celebrate the museum's Centennial. The film also was used as an introduction for museum visitors, was released educationally, and aired on WTTW, Chicago's PBS station.
